"If we make a promise for Fenerbahçe's future, we will keep that promise."

"If we make a promise for Fenerbahçe's future, we will keep that promise."

The Fenerbahçe Supreme Board of Directors' Ordinary Meeting was held at the Fenerbahçe Faruk Ilgaz Facilities. At the end of the meeting, Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran took the podium and made a statement. President Saran, noting that he expressed great pride and joy in addressing the high council meeting for the first time as president, said, "We've experienced a wonderful and exemplary transition. Today, we're gathered here to discuss Fenerbahçe's future. But I see we're stuck in past debates. These debates are unbecoming of Fenerbahçe. We need to understand each other, not blame each other. Statements targeting neither President Ali Koç nor President Aziz Yıldırım will move the club forward. Fenerbahçe's salvation lies in working together. Yıldırım, my call to you is clear; please come to the club; all the contracts are there. If you have any questions at any stage, let's address them together at the table. Let's speak the truth, but without wearing each other down. Fenerbahçe thrives not through debate, but through transparency and solidarity. Our door is open to everyone. No one's voice will be silenced, no one's question will go unanswered. We must no longer focus our energy on quarreling with each other, but on moving Fenerbahçe forward. We've entered an intense period since receiving our mandate. On the one hand, we must openly present the current situation." While we were working on this, we also began to develop solutions. Today, I would like to sincerely share the current situation and the process ahead. I wholeheartedly congratulate our Fenerbahçe Beko Men's Basketball and Fenerbahçe Medicana Women's Volleyball Teams, who brought us great joy shortly after taking office. Fenerbahçe Beko's victory in the 38th Presidential Cup and our Women's Volleyball Team's victory in the AXA Sigorta Champions Cup gave us all joy and hope. These achievements are the best indicator that Fenerbahçe is a club striving for the top in every branch. I congratulate our technical staff and our players. These achievements have been a powerful motivation for us. Our goal is to make Fenerbahçe's name a brand of success, trust, and stability not only in Türkiye, but also in Europe and the world in every field we compete in. We are still at the very beginning of the journey. We clearly see that Fenerbahçe's potential is far beyond what is apparent today. We must establish the same stability and sense of belonging in our football team. When we applied for this position, we had a single goal: to ensure that Fenerbahçe has been a leader for years. "Our goal is to regain the championship it deserves and make this success permanent. I always said during the election process: If we make a promise for Fenerbahçe's future, we will keep that promise. My board colleagues and I began working immediately after receiving our mandate. We assessed the situation in all areas of the club," he said.

"I wholeheartedly believe that this team will get back on its feet."

President Saran, noting that the selection process created uncertainty in Samandıra, said that they were working hard to restore the team's lost motivation. Saran, emphasizing the need to prioritize achieving the team's physical and mental rhythm, said, "We are working every day to build Fenerbahçe's future on solid foundations. I know that the reward for this effort will be strengthened by the trust of our community. Everything is proceeding in a planned, organized, and transparent manner. The most visible reward of this effort is the results achieved in football. For Fenerbahçe fans, success always begins on the pitch. Therefore, we must now instill the same order and determination in our football team. We have embraced two principles for our team's success: remaining calm no matter the pressure and choosing what is right over what is popular. First and foremost, we began with a diagnosis. Without a correct diagnosis, there can be no correct solution. The selection process created deep uncertainty in Samandıra, as it did throughout our club. There was serious uncertainty and confusion within the team. Player morale was low, and their sense of belonging was shaken. I saw this firsthand by speaking with the players. I said this: we need to revitalize this team's psychology. Coaches have changed, expectations have fluctuated, and players' minds have become disconnected from the game. Unfortunately, even the best tactics fail when motivation is lost. Our technical team He's hardworking, transparent, and has a reputation with the player group. Trust grows with results and shrinks with excuses. We said when we took over that we wouldn't make excuses. I respect every opinion of our fans. I listen to everyone around me and take note of differing opinions. But I'm not a manager who makes decisions based on pressure, fanfare, or social media influences. I look at the reality on the field and the team's long-term interests. Because snap decisions bring applause in the short term but disrupt stability in the long run. Our goal isn't to make headlines today, but to establish a lasting order. Our approach to our coaching staff is clear. We will continue with a trusted, hardworking, and transparent team. We won't hesitate to make decisions even when our success criteria aren't met. Our coach and his team are all focused on the same goal. We're after results, not applause. However, we must direct all our energy forward. Our short-term priority is for the team to find its physical and mental rhythm. Unfortunately, the season didn't begin with the right training program; this isn't an accusation, but an observation. Inaccurate analysis prevents the right solution. Players are physically deficient, the loads are unbalanced, "It's clear there's a lack of tactical harmony. We're identifying this not as an excuse, but to investigate the root cause. Based on scientific data and professional planning, we've implemented a program that will close this gap for the remainder of the season. We're repairing the physical foundation, not the emotional aspect. Without a solid foundation, there's no tactical or system. We view our shortcomings as part of our assessment, not as an excuse. It's not easy to start the season with a team that's not physically prepared enough. Now, there was a crucial time to fix this: the national break. It was a turning point for both physical and mental recovery. Our coach has established the right loading plan. Individual player monitoring has been conducted. Ertan (Torunoğulları) is in Samandıra every day. I also meet with the players frequently. It's not just about tactics; it's about spirit. Team chemistry isn't built solely on passing percentage, but on mutual belief. And that belief is building gradually. I wholeheartedly believe this team will recover."

"Discipline is there to keep us all in line"

Sadettin Saran, speaking about the exclusions of İrfan Can Kahveci and Cenk Tosun from the A Team, said, "Maintaining this belief sometimes requires making difficult decisions. With this understanding, we were forced to make the decision to exclude two of our players. I won't go into detail about this. This isn't a rupture; on the contrary, it's a reminder of correct behavior at the right time. They are part of this family. This decision isn't a punishment; it's a reminder mechanism within the team's structure. Discipline is there to keep us all on the same page. We trust our coach Tedesco and our players. From now on, everyone will focus on their own work. We will address the shortcomings we identified in January. Our players will compete on the pitch for the full 90 minutes, focusing on the game. As management, we will do our part, and our players will do what's necessary on the pitch. At this stage, I'm asking for support from our fans, not patience. This fight can't be fought alone. We, on the pitch and in the stands, are here for the same goal and the same belief. If we stand together to defend what's right and walk with the same determination, this situation will change very quickly."

"Fenerbahce is in safe hands"

Regarding Fenerbahçe's potential, the Yellow Canaries' president said, "For the steps we've taken in football to be sustainable, our financial structure must be equally strong. Since the day we took office, all the club's obligations and shortcomings have been met. Our priorities are cash flow, expense control, and transparent reporting. I didn't come to this position out of fear of financial statements. We have confidence in Fenerbahçe's potential, production capacity, brand, and value. No debt item frightens us. Our duty is to strengthen the club. Fenerbahçe is in safe hands."

"This meeting is an expression of Fenerbahçe's determination to secure its future."

Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran called on congress members to attend the extraordinary general assembly meeting to be held at the Ülker Sports and Event Hall on Saturday, October 25th, and said the following:

All contracts are transparently audited and approved. We will always continue to maintain the trust of our community. Our relationships with our members and associations will progress through a more constructive dialogue than ever before. For us, communication doesn't always mean providing information, but rather making decisions together. That's why we are always open to the opinions of our members. Fenerbahçe derives its strength from the hearts of millions. Therefore, every member, every association will be an integral part of this journey, building Fenerbahçe's future. Don't view the congress as merely a vote of authority. This meeting is a statement of our determination to secure Fenerbahçe's future. I have complete confidence in our community on this matter. I don't believe a decision will be made on October 25th that contradicts this need. Fenerbahçe's future is paved with unity and wisdom. I await all congress members. If we continue to walk with the same faith and towards the same goal, we will make Fenerbahçe a club known not for its crises but for its stability.
